It bearsthe maker's marks of the famousMaisonChristoflein Paris. The first mark consists of the name “Christofle” written in block letters and the initials “O.C.” (OrfèvrerieChristofle) surrounding the images of a scale and a bee surmounted by four stars. The second mark consists of the initials O.C. (OrfèvrerieChristofle) surrounding the figure of a knight from a chess set.It isalso numbered“18”.This piece isin very goodconditionwith the exceptionoffaintscratches due to age and use.It willbean authentic French additionto your table setting or collection.Please refer to the detailed photos on this page.
